Re: Inventory of poles for Navasota Valley Electric Cooperative, Inc.

NVEC has retained Spartan Utility Services, LLC to perform pole attachment assessments throughout their service territory. These assessments are part of an ongoing effort to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of the utility infrastructure. The evaluations will include field inspections, data collection, and documentation of existing attachments to verify compliance with applicable regulations and safety standards.

Work is scheduled to begin on December 15, 2025, and continue through the first quarter of 2026. During this time, crews from Spartan Utility Services, LLC will be inventorying cable, telephone, and fiber facilities on NVEC poles.

While every effort will be made to minimize disruptions, residents and businesses may notice utility personnel working near poles, using specialized equipment, and performing visual inspections. Crews may also require access to private property to reach NVEC’s poles.

All Spartan vehicles will be clearly marked with NVEC and Spartan signage.

We appreciate the community’s cooperation and understanding as we undertake this important initiative.
