I have proudly served on the Navasota Valley Electric Cooperative Board of Directors since 2020, holding the roles of board member, Secretary/Treasurer, and currently as Vice President. My board experience also includes over 15 years with the Freestone Central Appraisal District, where I served in multiple roles, including currently as Chairman. I have also been active in church leadership, serving multiple terms as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Fairfield First United Methodist Church and participating in other committees and leadership positions.
Professionally, I am the Ranch Manager at Plum Creek Ranch, overseeing a commercial cow/calf operation, stocker calf leasing program, land management, and hunting operations. I am a graduate of Fairfield High School and Southern Methodist University, earning a bachelor's degree in business administration. My wife, Kristen, and I have raised three children, ages 18-23.

I worked in the field of education for forty-two years beginning with Mart ISD as a teacher and coach; Marlin ISD as a Special Education teacher, Assistant High School Principal, Middle School Principal and Director of Special Education; Assistant Principal at Waco ISD and Teacher at Texas Juvenile Justice Department in Mart, Texas; I retired in 2014.
Beyond professional achievements, a rich personal life and my faith in God has provided stability and meaning. As a Board Member, I will continue to dedicate my time, experience, hard work, and commitment to the members of Navasota Valley Co-op.
