NVEC will send a journeyman team, apprentice line workers, competition judges, and volunteers to the Texas Lineman’s Rodeo in Seguin July 13-15.

The event gives linemen a chance to showcase their line work skills in a fun, competitive way. Journeymen and apprentice linemen come from all over the state of Texas to compete. The competition features five team events for apprentice and journeyman teams- the pole climb, hurtman rescue, tool inspection and two mystery events. Additionally, each apprentice must complete a written test. This test, combined with the mystery events, forces participants to study for and practice a multitude of skills.
