Out and About

Navasota Valley Electric Cooperative employees are always happy to lend a hand to our local communities. Each December, for the Mart Chamber of Commerce, banners are hung downtown to help celebrate the Christmas season.

NVEC’s Safety Education program is presented to the area elementary school children. Safety education videos are shown along with demonstrations provided by NVEC servicemen. Each child is sent home with safety education materials and tips to help their entire family practice safety measures inside and outside their homes.

NVEC also participates in area high school Career Days providing information to local students graduating showing them what the electrical industry has to offer as a career.

United States and State of Texas flags have been replaced at our local city halls, community centers, nursing homes and post offices when requested.

NVEC employees have helped out at local youth baseball fields in providing upgrades to the electric systems and the lighting for the baseball fields.
